Mobile-friendly ordering system

ZOIK built a web application in Laravel, PHP web framework, that provided an online tool for customers to log-in and place order of favourite products for delivery in the next seven days.  The application provided notifications to assist staff manage orders and collate all orders for baking, packing and delivery.

This mobile-friendly project was extended in 2019 by integration into Reckon Accounts Hosted.  ZOIK designed an application to collect confirmed daily orders and send these to The Bakeologists online accounting management program.  The service automatically generates invoices ready to send to clients.

ZOIK created a secure order web-app (by default it displays a list of each client’s ‘favourite’ products, with an additional field for comments). Clients can pre-order up to seven days in advance. The system allows for cut-off times to avoid orders after daily baking deadline.

Once confirmed, collated orders are available in a simple staff view to display and print for baking, slicing and packing.
