Profiles
Chris Cahill
Director

Chris has spent over 15 years in tourism and the travel industry. He has held positions with Tourism Queensland, National Centre for Tourism Studies (James Cook University), Great Keppel Island Resort, Lady Elliot Island, Seair Pacific and more recently developed travel packages to major Australian Music events including Big Day Out, Livid and Homebake.

Chris' experience is grounded in travel market research where he worked closely with Tourism Queensland Executives to develop the state-wide 'Destination Branding" strategy.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics from University of Queensland and a Masters in Business (Marketing) from Queensland University of Technology.





James Smythe
Director

As a Brisbane based Graphic Artist, James has developed retail and creative imaging campaigns for several leading travel companies including Tourism Queensland. James can also be considered quite an old-hand in the new medium of web design. Since 1997 he has been advising technology firms on the use of interactive graphics.

Melanie Grevis-James
Director

Melanie has over fifteen years marketing experience in the tourism industry; both in Australia and overseas. This includes key marketing and management roles with Tourism Queensland (Adelaide, Brisbane & Europe), the Australian Tourist Commission (Sydney), Tourism Sunshine Coast; and operating a successful marketing consultancy and representation business specialising in regional/rural tourism products and destinations. Melanie provides expertise in the specialist area of inbound and international tourism marketing and advertising.

Melanie has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Queensland (Major in Tourism and Hospitality Management). Recent projects include the Drive Marketing Plan (Stage 2) for Tourism Queensland, and producing national marketing publications for Britz and Maui (THL). 





Reece Keil
Design Coordinator

Working closely with James, Reece is responsible for graphic production, including magazine and online publishing. Reece’s keen eye for detail and unconventional approach to problem solving adds a new dimension to ZOIK’s creative services.

Recent projects include:

Production and assistance for Great Tropical Drive website
Production layout and setup for SuperSavers booklet and Outbound Magazine, and
Creative design for news and magazine advertising campaigns.





Melita Brown
Marketing Coordinator

A Graduate of Marketing and Psychology at University of Queensland, Melita joined ZOIK in early 2007 and has quickly developed experience in above and below the line advertising media.

Recent projects include:

Production and assistance for makeTracks and outbound magazine
Coordination and dispatch for client advertising campaigns





Inga Read
Writer

Inga has a Bachelor of Creative Writing/Creative Industries from Queensland University of Technology. She contributed to various Brisbane magazines and websites, before joining Zoik in 2007.
